DreamTeam coaches with Patty Ryder in their sides, will have a nervous wait at the tribunal after Essendon revealed they'll contest his one-week ban for rough play on Crow Patrick Dangerfield.
The big Bomber was offered a one-match ban by the AFL match review panel for his charge, but Essendon will challenge that, risking a potential two-match suspension if they fail in their case.
Ryder is a very popular DT defender with just under 44,000 coaches enjoying his services having made a huge aggregate price increase of $121k this season.
The $355k defender is Essendon's fifth highest scoring player this season.
Elsewhere, St Kilda ruckman Steven King wisely accepted his four-match ban for rough conduct on Kangaroo Sam Power, while Port's Nick Lower also accepted a reprimand for striking Freo's Paul Hasleby, meaning he's free to play in Round 12.
