Around The Grounds

  • Collingwood defender Nathan Brown will have scans on the knee he jarred in Monday's win over Melbourne. The $155k defender who hasn't missed a game this season is owned by over 18,000 DT coaches.
  • Scans on Adelaide skipper Simon Goodwin's knee have revealed good news with no structural damage. Goodwin has strained his medial ligament and looks likely to return after the split round.
  • Carlton's prized off-season recruit Robbie Warnock is reportedly four weeks away from his Blues debut after a season-long battle with a foot injury. Over 3,000 DT coaches enjoy the ex-Docker's services, so his return will be a welcome, albeit long-awaited, one.
  • Collingwood claim veteran forward Anthony Rocca could be a chance to play in the Pies' next match against the Swans. Rocca may play a game in the VFL on the weekend before the match at ANZ Stadium in a fortnight.
  • Another AFL veteran, Kane Johnson, has retired today due to problems with his knee injury. The former Richmond skipper is owned by just over 900 DT coaches, who might want to trade out the $415k midfielder.
