Geelong have revealed gun forward Paul Chapman will miss next week, and perhaps a game more, with a hamstring injury.
The popular Cats forward booted six goals in the weekend's win over Adelaide but Geelong coach Mark Thompson revealed he sustained the injury during that game.
"He played with it for a time," Thompson said at Skilled Stadium on Tuesday afternoon. "He did it during the game – I think it was late in the first quarter.
"He got the hamstring twinge. It was his left – not the one he kicked all the goals with.
"He played with it, and he wants to play this week, but we're not going to let him."
