Tribunal Update: Corey Free To Play

Geelong's gun $399k midfielder Joel Corey is free to play this weekend after accepting a reprimand for a charge of rough conduct on Hawk Liam Shiels.

Corey, who is owned by over 26,000 DT coaches, accumulates 70.31 points towards his future record but will be available for this Saturday's clash with Adelaide.

Brisbane's Tim Notting also accepted a sanction for his charge of striking North Melbourne's Scott Thompson, but the Lion will be suspended for one match.

Hawthorn's Cyril Rioli accepted a fine for contact with an umpire.

Stevie Johnson Is Back... Finally

Geelong's popular $405k forward Stevie Johnson looks set to return to the Cats line-up for this Saturday's clash with Adelaide.

Johnson, who is owned by 65,000 DT coaches, hasn't played since Round 13 due to a hip complaint.

But Geelong coach Mark Thompson said, "It took us a while to work out what was wrong with him, and then it was a bit of a program to get him back right to play.

"It's the right week to bring him back, and we're pretty confident that he'll be over his injury and he'll be able to perform at the level to be a good player for the club."

Thompson also revealed defender Tom Harley will face a test to play this weekend, while fellow key defensive pair Matthew Scarlett and Harry Taylor had been ruled out of the Adelaide game due to groin injuries.

Also midfielder James Kelly will still miss a few more games with injury, while bigman Brad Ottens could return via the VFL this weekend.
