Taylor Walker Could Return

Adelaide's popular $211k DT forward Taylor Walker is in the mix for a AFL recall as the Crows prepare to face Geelong at Skilled Stadium this Saturday.

Walker, who is owned by over 41,000 DT coaches, hasn't played AFL footy since Round 13 having been dropped, but after some decent SANFL form and some unfortunate injuries to seniors, the door may be open for a return.

Adelaide's $75k young midfielder Brodie Martin needs a season-ending knee reconstruction having sustained the injury against Port last weekend, while early DT fave Andy Otten (corked thigh) is facing a Friday fitness test.

Teammate Bernie Vince said, “We’ve got guys in the side that are performing up forward at the moment, so Taylor’s just waiting for his opportunity. He’s doing everything he can and I’m sure when the opportunity arises he’ll grab it with both hands.”

$381k mid Tyson Edwards will take one of the spots available in the 22 after a hamstring injury.
