Around The Grounds

  • Brisbane $349k defender Jed Adcock will undergo scans on his knee today but the signs aren't good. Liosn coach Michael Voss said on Monday, “The prognosis is the season. What type of procedure and who it’s done by will all get spoken about in the next 24 hours … obviously the prognosis straight away was that he was likely to be out for the year, and there’s been nothing in the last sort of 24 hours that would suggest that that’s changed."
  • Port Adelaide's $358k midfielder Travis Boak is a chance to play this weekend having pulled up well from training last week after a knee injury. Along with Boak, young Power $253k mid Matt Thomas could return after injury having played a half a game for Norwood reserves on the weekend.
